the classroom
Presented by: Lizzy Brokob, Kristina Clark, and

Welcome

Welcome Parents and Caregivers to our Open House!

Tonight we want to show you all some tools that your students have
been using in the classroom.

These are easy and fun tools your students can even do at home...

Enjoy!
AAAspell.com
AAASpell.com is a fun website that allows students to practice their
spelling words in the form of games. AAAspell.com allows teachers to
create their own games using their weekly spelling lists. They are given
the opportunity to have their students practice spelling lists that they
are currently teaching them.

For Parents: Once the teacher has created a spelling list, you can sit
down with your child at home and play some fun spelling games and
help your child learn.

Standards
Some standards that our classroom meets while using technology includes:

Standard 3. Observing, Documenting, and Assessing to Support Young Children

and Families. 3c: Understanding and practicing responsible assessment to
promote positive outcomes for each child

Standard 5. Using Content Knowledge to Build Meaningful Curriculum. 5c: Using

their own knowledge, appropriate early learning standards, and other
resources to design, implement, and evaluate meaningful, challenging
curricula for each child.

We plan to utilize each of these tools in our future classrooms. These

tools, AAASpell.com, EDUCAplay, and Kahoot, each are strategic tools
for assessing student achievement and understanding about a topic.
These tools engage students in a fun and interactive way while also
encouraging independent study habits that could easily be used in and
outside of the classroom.
