Bullying?

BULLYING
Any SEVERE or REPEATED use
by one or more students of a:
Written, verbal or electronic
expression
Physical act or gesture;
Or any combination thereof

Directed to ANOTHER STUDENT,
that has the effect of:
Causing or placing the latter in
reasonable fear of
physical or emotional harm or damage
to his property
Creating a hostile environment at
school for the victim
Infringing on the rights of the victim
at school; or

Such as, but not limited to:
A) UNWANTED PHYSICAL
CONTACT between the bully
and the victim
Punching, pushing, kicking, slapping,
tickling
Headlocks, inflicting of school

All elementary and secondary schools are
directed to adopt the following POLICIES:

BULLYING OR RETALIATION,
COMMENSURATE WITH THE NATURE
AND GRAVITY OF THE OFFENSE,
PROVIDED THAT THE PERPETRATOR

All elementary and secondary schools are
directed to adopt the following POLICIES:
D) ENABLING STUDENTS TO
ANONYMOUSLY REPORT BULLYING OR
RETALIATION: PROVIDED THAT, NO
ACTION SHALL BE TAKEN AGAINST
PERPETRATOR BASED SOLELY ON AN
ANONYMOUS REPORT.

Requirement
All schools shall inform their
respective school division
superintendents, in writing, the
anti-bullying policies of each
schools
Schools shall submit a report to
their respective schools division
superintendent of all information
and statistics on acts of bullying
and retaliation every 1st week of
the start of the school year
Superintendents shall compile and
report to the Secretary of DepEd
Sanction for
Non-
compliance
Secretary of deped
Prescribes the appropriate
administrative sanctions on school
administrators who shall fail to
comply with the requirements under
this act.
