Dennisse Pumayugra: Introduction
Deforestation is an important topic, not only is it very bad for our
environment but it also affects numerous homes for animals, we cause
deforestation, due to financial reasons. Deforestation is the clearing of
trees in a wide area. Forests cover up about 30% of the land area of our
planet. They dont only provide oxygen in our lives but they also provide
the homes to countless wildlifes. Various endangered animals live in
forests, and deforestation is the cause of an abundant of them going
extinct.
Kunga Lodhen:Causes of Deforestation
There are many causes to Deforestation. Such as
overpopulation and agriculture expansion, logging, and
infrastructure expansion and more. Overpopulation causes
deforestation because with overpopulation comes an increase in
global needs and wants, leading to expansion and
deforestation. Another cause is logging, and illegal logging, are
another cause of deforestation in many countries like Indonesia.
It destroys the livelihood of those who depend on trees.
Valentina Perez: Current Situation of
Our Rain Forest
From 1950-2020, you deforestation
slowly started to expand and kill our
forest, the destruction started of in
certin areas leading to the monumental
expansion of empty land.
Angel Garcia: Short and long Term Effects

Deforestation is a major issue, as shown before by valentina.

Throughout the years of 1950 to the 2010s it has been a high standard rated
issue. This is bad because many of animals are losing their habitats. And us
humans our losing our plants and not protecting the things that keep us
alive.Well because of them, we are here now and instead of conserving and
protecting them we are destroying them. Just to make human distortion.
Such as Malls, Amusement Parks, Water Parks and so on..
Kevin M: Short and Long Term Solutions
Deforestation is a major leading cause in Earths
pollution. Though it may seem impossible to solve, there
are many simple solutions that people can do. The most
easiest and simple solution is to simply planting more
trees and recycle more tree oriented products to conserve
materials. There are more complicated solutions such as
placing laws to limit or completely eliminate deforestation.
However, these solutions would be difficult to establish.
Current Status of the Rainforest
Originally the rainforest was 3418246.656
Kilometers^2. Currently over 20% has been destroyed.
If we do the math, thats a total of 2734597.3248^2
Kilometers still remaining. Over 6836489.3312^2
kilometers has been destroyed. In order to bring
stability back into the rainforest we would need to
bring back at least 25% to replace and compensate for
the destruction of the rainforest.
