AMBUSHES:

Like with any ambush the key to survival is


swift decisive movement. The actions you take
will determine the outcome of the ambush.

The first priority is to clear the kill zone and


establish a base of fire. Remember that fire
superiority wins fire fights.
AMBUSHES:
The enemy has gone through great lengths in
preparing for this ambush. They have probably
taken the time to set up mines or booby-traps on
both sides of the road.

SNIPERS:
Do not stop, if anything speed up.

If wind conditions allow, throw smoke to screen


enemy observation.

Sentries should return fire in the general


direction to suppress sniper.
AIR ATTACK:
Shoot at attacking aircraft using all available
weapons.

Put up large volumes of fire, accuracy is


important, and volume!

Fire at the nose of the aircraft.


AIR ATTACK:
Lie on your back if caught in the open.

Mounted crew serve weapons should aim 2 to 3


aircraft lengths ahead of the aircraft nose.
AMBUSHES:
Vehicle caught in the kill zone, continue to
move until clear, find cover and concealment,
stop and dismount.

Vehicle which has not entered the kill zone,


find cover and concealment, stop short and
dismount.
AMBUSHES:
Vehicle caught in the kill zone that has become
disabled, conduct a vehicle unloading drill.

Other vehicles find positions to return


suppressive fire, this will support maneuver of
security forces.
AMBUSHES:
Security forces maneuver and assault based on
rehearsals.

Indirect fire and or air strikes can be called in


on fleeing of fighting enemy.
