Success Academy is a three Success Academy first semester is a

semester (summer, fall and spring) 7 week term and students will be
first year program to help incoming taking 7 credits hours
freshmen from all majors transition
successfully into Georgia State GSU 1010 New Student Orientation
University. This program started in
2012, as an alternative for deferring English 1101- English Composition 1
students below the University's
Third course to be chosen from the
academic profile until the spring

Aid concerns for incoming freshman undergraduate
students at the Atlanta Campus

regarding Financial Aid
Conduct Financial Aid outreach and Prep-Talk
sessions
Conduct in-person meetings, phone calls and
messaging to address Financial Aid concerns
Review Financial Aid requirements with students and
parents including verification items and awarded aid
package to provide more personalized counseling
Maintain understanding of Banner content used by
Financial Aid and Verification processes
Maintain relationships with the Financial Aid Office to
gather updates and relay/train Admissions
recruitment team and Welcome Center
Calling Campaigns for Financial aid issues
Address inquiries and resolve complaints about
Financial Aid , affordability and tuition balances that
come through the Office of Admissions
