LIGHT SCATTERING
When different colour of light absorbed and
reflect at different rate by molecules of gas,
water vapour, and dust particles.
Blue component travel slowest, so that blue
component is scattered most, and hence the
sky looks blue in the day.
Red component travel fastest, so it scattered
less
During sunset
When the sun is lower, sunlight travels a longer
distance to reach us.
This means the sunlight passes through a thicker layer
of atmosphere
By the time the light reaches us, most of the blue,
indigo, and violet light is scattered away. Hence only
the red, orange and yellow light which are less
scattered reach our eyes

Colours can be classified into two groups;
primary and secondary colours
Primary colours; colour that cannot be
produced by mixing other colours

Secondary colours; colours that can be
obtained by adding any two of primary colours
Yellow
Magenta
Cyan
