Library: Tuesday 8:10 to 8:40am Daily: Recap on sight words, days of the week, months, story, beginning, middle, and ending letter sounds, blends etc, Good manners, looking after the classroom materials.
Physical Education: 8.40 to 9.10am Library: Tuesday 8.50-9.20 choose a library book to take home. Box 3. The magic Key, Organising Ideas and setting. 4th story Biff of the jungle. Or Charlie & Lola VCD

Before children enter their classroom ask the children to take their snack out of their big bags and put their big bag in the basket at the top of the stairs (first floor
landing).They wiil put their snack bottles etc in the container labelled Snack to be put here.
Ask the children sit on the carpet with their yellow bag open ready to pass up their reading book. Collect and check that all reading books have been returned undamaged. If a
Child forgets their book, they will not be able to borrow a book, until the book has been returned.
8.10am until 8.40am Guided Reading & Book baskets. Guided Reading groups

Group guided reading on the carpet. The remainder of the children go to their respective tables where their book basket
is and their 2 page story book or My Word Book. 2 page story book: children can read a chosen book and copy the story
and draw illustration or read their book and write words that they cant spell in their spelling booklet following the alphabetical order. Children who are sitting at their tables
have to choose a book from their basket to take home, and place it in their Yellow record book and leave by the easel board. When the guided reading activity has finished,
record the date, book title and sign the page in the Yellow record book (all books to be recorded). Record the same details on the borrowed book weekly list in the register.

8.40am until 9.10am Outdoor physical Education. Please refer to the attached copy of the Physical Education.
9.10am-10.10am Math
Settle the children on the mat in front of the easel board and begin the morning lesson.
Children will take their name from the attendance tray and pin on the attendance chart-display board.
Children will have to do this every day when they enter the classroom.
Sing the song together,/ Menyanyi lagu bersama sama. Use the Lakeshore hand puppet, laminated days of the week & months of the year card sing together: The ACD Theme 2
PP-ACD 2009 Tracks 1 to 43. Track 1. Days of the week in English, then sing again in BM to the same tune. Followed by: Tr.2 Months of the year. Theme 2 song booklet
Lyrics. As you sing together, pin the laminated cards clipped to the easel board. Write on the easel board: Today is (day & date) Look at the days of the week and calendar
chart, (laminated card days & display board calendar chart). Read write and spell with the children. Focus on listening to the sound in the word and groups of sounds, syllables.
Invite a child to change the date and day on the calendar display board chart, with the help of the other children. Teacher to choose one child to change the day and date,
Following the names on the register.

Gather the children in front of the computer Monitor Desktop file: Theme 2 week 1 Stories & songs 2012 Counting by two song.
Or, and Sing together: Theme 2 Pre-Primary ACD New 2005 Track 5 Tug-a-tug to twenty two. Read the lyrics from the
Theme 2 song booklet together, then sing the song. Focus: Counting by 2
Either: use the lakeshore Skip Counting Flip Book Counting by Twos (2,4,6) Or, and the Skip Counting by Fives (5,10,15)
As the song is being played or on its own, flip the book pages and skip counting, read with the children.

Invite six children to take off their shoes and line them up behind in front of easel board facing the children on the carpet. Ask the children (sat on the carpet) to count the
Shoes with you. Instead of counting one shoes at a time, explain that you will count by twos. Use the class pointer to point each pair as you lead the class in skip-counting by
Twos.
Teacher to say, How many shoes are there? Thats right-12 and 6 pairs of twos.
Then ask one child at a time to come forward, and put the numeral flashcard in sequence order by two.2 4 6 8 10 etc. When everyone understands the concept, ask the
Children to put on their shoes and join their friends on the carpet.
Warm-up-time: Ask everyone to stand up and give their bodys a quick shake to wake it up. Then, sit down facing the easel board ready for the net activity.

Place the A4 w/s Counting the objects by 2 in a tray. Show the children the worksheet activity and explain to them what they have to do. Write the childs name in pencils on
