OBJECTIVE
The overall objective of ASSIGNMENT#1 is to assess the
understanding and achievement of students in LO#3 and PO#12.
Total marks for ASSIGNMENT#1 is 12marks.
This is assessed through the submission and group presentation of
ASSIGNMENT#1.
Rubrics assessment (slide#6) is used to grade the assignment.
To better meet the expectation of the rubrics, it is important that
the assignment include (or cover) the keywords, topics and areas in
each of LO#3 and PO#12.
Besides assessment by the lecturer, each group is given the task to
be peer assessors for other group presentations.
Insert the table in slide#8 to provide information of the relevant
slides related to the achievement of LO#3 and PO#12. 3

Group members must be from the same lecture group.

For registration, email ksjee@mmu.edu.my the names and student ID
numbers of all group members and copy (cc) the email also to all the group
members. The first name in the list should be the group leader.
Deadline for registration is 1200@21AUG. Students who still who have not 4

Topics are from Chapters#4 & #5 (slide#7).
Each group will be assigned topics by 25AUG.
Based on the assigned topics, the assignment is prepared accordingly to the
rubrics assessment which is mapped to LO#3 and PO#12.
With the lecturers notes as guidance, students will search for extra
information, case studies and applications for the assignment.
Students must not repeat the same information as in the lecture notes.
Actual case studies and examples of the applications of the topics must be
included.
Powerpoint format. Maximum number of slides is 30. Maximum file size is
10Mb.
