I learned that the artwork will be a lion.

This artwork relates to biology because a lion is


apart of the animal kingdom, which is science.

I see line in the lions mane, space behind the


lion, color in the lion, and shape in the lion.

They used chalk and colored pencil.

The focal point of the painting is the lions face


and mane.

There is balance because the lion appears to


take up both sides of the page.

The proportions look normal. The only thing


that looks unusual is the length of the body.

My eyes go to the lions mane and follow the fur.

The texture of the fur brings together the


artwork.

Lions usually represent courage and bravery. In


this artwork, the lion appears calm and brave.

give the viewer when looking at the work?

I believe the artist wanted to convey the feeling


of self-confidence and bravery.

The artwork reminds me of a time when I had to


present a project to the class and I felt confident
about my work.

The work relates to science because we have


learned about the classification of animals. A
lion falls under the Animalia kingdom.

I feel like this artwork was a success because it


conveys a feeling of bravery.

I feel like this work is somewhat unique. It is a


sketch of a lion.

could have made to the work?

I dont feel like the artist could have made too


many improvements, it looks fine just the way it
is. They couldve added color, though.
