Students Skillsets
Industries
Industries are to be classified based on various criteria depending on the
work requirements
For example classification done by SEBI (Banking sector, Oil &Mining, FMCG,
Health sector, etc.)
Further classification can be done in each sector based on various roles of the
workforce, for example: Product designers, engineers, accountants, chemists,
managers, etc.
Each class to be analysed ,f or the skills those are currently applicable in the
industries and in the near future (2-5 years)
Various tools and techniques to be mapped with each skill set to make the
work handling by employees more efficient (say MS Excel for accountants,
AutoCAD for designers, etc.)
Students
Students are to be classified based on their field of education and their
current level in that field (percentile based grouping can be done based on
few free online tests)
Students are to be further classified based on their career growth
prospects
Mapping can be done based on students current level of skill sets and as
required by the industries in respective domains (which they want to
pursue)
With more number of enrolments we will have more data pool for
classification and optimisation
Mapping, Training & +KITA
Case simulations and datasets can be created by market research
(according to current industry needs)
Students are given these problems and time-limit ( say 5 hours)
More such cases and problems can be pooled-in from freelancing websites
(those outsource work online) or directly by contacting industries
Once the solutions are posted by the students, they will be available for
viewing and rating by the respective industries (who have given those
cases or problems)
Best rated answers to be awarded and shared by all (we can also pay the
authors of the solutions or ask the respective company who gave the
problem to do so)
All other solutions can be rated compared to the featured solution
Mapping, Training & +KITA
The growth of students skill sets can be tracked and this report can be
made available to the companies.
They can select any candidate they like as an employee and pay them
according to the market rates
Apart form these online workgroups can also be created
Various courses can also be provided for the students
Pricing
Revenue that each skill set provides in the market should be used to
adjust pricing levels for the students (maintaining low payback periods)
Bulk pricing can also be done for large group enrolment
As this process is all online hence, there can be no boundaries of
knowledge flow and it will abridge the gap between industries and our
academically brilliant students
There will be still issues of teamwork as online interface isnt that
supportive, but holographic conversations may bolster the teamwork
efforts (although setup costs can be too high)
Thanks!
