Limitation of the kinematic equations

Calculus doesn't work very well when there


is a sudden change in position, velocity and
acceleration.
We assume that if the motion is smooth.
Graphical method is usually preferred for
erratic motion.

Erratic motion need many functions


to represent rather then just one.
