INTRODUCTION
Malaysia is a unique country with the combination of multiethnic, multicultural,
and multilingual society that lived together
Bahasa Malaysia is the national language of the country
Three major races:
Malay
Chinese
Indian
HISTORY
HISTORY OF MALAY
Came from:
Sumatera, Bugis, Java, Bawean : Living in West and South Penisular Malaysia
Evidence that Parameswara-Sultan Malacca was from Palembang.
Religion is Islam

HISTORY OF CHINESE
Came from Land of China
Evidence : The friendly diplomatic relations between China and Malacca
culminated during the reign of Sultan Mansur Syah, who married the Chinese
princess Hang Li Po.
Religion is Buddhism.

Came from India.
Evidence : Brought by colonization, British.
Religion is Hinduism.

Diwali also known as Deepavali, Tihar and the "festival of lights" is an
ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival
spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness.
Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community
on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February)
CONCLUSION
Malaysia is a country that has a variety of immigrant and ethnic populations.
This raises a variety of different things between people from different cultural
backgrounds.

Although Islam in Malaysia is not the only religion, almost half of the country's
population is Moslem.

The official language of Malaysia is Bahasa Malaysia and English is generally


regarded as the language of business in Malaysia, but not all residents of
Malaysia could speak English very well and other languages spoken in Malaysia
such as Cantonese, Mandarin and Tamil.
