 What is MaklabIndia?

MaklabIndia is an Edu-tech start-up to promote STEM education
and to implement computational thinking. We plan to make a
platform for building young makers of technology.

Our vision is that every student in every school should have the
opportunity to learn computer programming, just like biology,
chemistry or algebra.

We are an enthusiastic volunteer team that set up a community

venue like a school or library to run an a school club for children
aged 7-15 using specially created Makclub resources.

The name of the club is Makclub(makers club). The main

purpose of the club is promoting Computational thinking.

Conducted Coding Unplugged workshop in 15 schools .

Weekly coding workshops at our Centre .

Got go ahead signal from 5 schools to form MAKCLUBS from next

academic year.

Developed a detailed syllabus and designed how children will grow

through various phases in MAKCLUBS.
 Path Ahead us

We have a target to develop MAKCLUBS in 60% of schools in Kollam
and start operations in Trivandrum and Ernakulum.

Conduct workshops for Parents and General Public, to make them

understand the need for teaching coding at an younger age to
children and to spread digital literacy.

Conduct district wise and state wise exhibitions where MAKSTARS

will get a chance to present their projects.

Develop a program for school teachers to make them updated with

technology.
