Vocabulary
Fossil: A fossil is any preserved remains, impression, or
trace of any once-living thing from a past geological age.

Fossil records: A term used by paleontologists to refer to

the total number of fossils that have been discovered, as
well as to the informationderived from them.
FOSSILS
People today know about many plants and
animals because of fossils.
A fossil is the remains of an organism that
lived long time ago.
Fossil formation

1. Sediment covers an organism.

2. The sediment hardens into
rock, preserving the fossil
shape.
3. The soft parts of organisms
break down quickly and
decay.
Most fossils are formed from only the hard parts of
living things, such as shells, bones and teeth.

CLASS ACTIVITY
fill in with the steps of fossil formation in the correct
order.
Minerals fill the space.
Soft parts of the animal decay.
A fossil of the hard parts of the sea animal forms in
the rock.
A small sea animal with a shell dies and is covered in
sediments.
A space forms in the rock where the soft parts used
to be.
Class Activity
Suppose you are hiking near a cliff. You see
a large bone trapped in rock. Write a story
that describes the animal whose fossil you
found.
Tell how you think it lived and how the fossil

JESUS CHARACTER (We must show Gods warm love to all the
people that live in coldness)

Principle of the month: LOVE AND RECONCILIATION

BASED ON:
John 13:34-35
New International Version (NIV)

34A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are
my disciples, if you love one another.

We will talk about what the bible says about the love and why it is so
important for the world.
