 Laundry is a part of Housekeeping
department that responsible for cleaning
all linens, uniforms and guest laundry.
Laundry also as supporting department, to
support other department: Housekeeping,
Front Office, FnB, etc to make sure
availability of their linens and uniforms to
maintain smoothness their operations.

Laundry Manager
Responsible for whole of Laundry Department operation and
administration.
Counter Section (Order Taker)
Responsible to assist Laundry Administration. Proceed billing
and maintain guest order by phone.
Pick up and Delivery Section (Valet)
Responsible to pick up and deliver laundry to the guest.
Checking Section (Checker)
Responsible to check guest laundry before processing to be
washed and checking guest laundry after washed before deliver
to the guest.

Marking Section (Marker)
Responsible to marking guest laundry before processing based
on items brand, colour, date of receive
Washing Section (Washer)
Responsible to wash all of dirty linen and guest laundry based on
house regulation
Calendering and Pressing Section (Flat work ironer and presser)
Responsible to do pressing all of linens and guest laundry after
process by washer
Dry Cleaning Section (Dry Cleaner)
Responsible to do dry washing by Dry Cleaner machine using
solvent chemical

cotton and polyester fabric.

Chlorine Bleach
Liquid or powder with special formula to
whitening on fabric or linen. Sometimes this
liquid or powder use to remove smell on clothes
and use as desinfectant.
Sour

Multifunction neutralizer liquid that formulized

rest of detergent smell, chlorine during washing
process.
Softener

Thick liquid containing softener cationic that

have characteristic to softening linens and cloth
