Concept
To stay healthy and living long naturally. Eating
right balanced food is the key to sound health.
Balanced food means also right nutrition on
what to eat for survival, maintenance and
upkeep of health of the body. In take of
poison free food for consumption is an
essential requisite. Also the ayurveda and
herbals are taken as support in preventing,
curing ailments
Methodology
Right balanced food which is right nutrition consists of essential nutrients
required by the body. The essential nutrients are vitamins, carbohydrates,
proteins, fat, minerals and fibre. These may be got from the foods
containing these nutrients. In the recent times awareness also has come
on eating the poison free food grown without artificial pesticides and
fertilizers. Organic farming and natural farming provide the ways to
producing poison free food. The scientific knowledge how body functions
and the role of each nutrient in the body in staying healthy helps
practicing this staying healthy naturally. Ayurveda medicines and herbals
aid the natural way of staying healthy when taken in right manner. Modern
medicine though effective in accidents, emergency are not effective curing
several other ailments like diabetes, boosting immunity. Modern medicine
may be resorted in cases of emergency, accidents etc and modern testing
methods may be used to study the efficacy of the natural , ayuveda and
herbals.

Understanding metabolism
Metabolism is the sum of all chemical reactions
that occur in living organisms, including digestion
and the transport of substances into and
between different cells as the cells need the
nutrients for functioning and staying healthy.
Blood, liver kidney, the entire digestive system
work together to separate the good parts and
bad parts. The good parts are used and the bad
parts are expelled as excreta/waste . Eating right
nutritious food aids in easy digestion, using the
food for body and expelling the excreta smoothly
Role of nutrients
Carbohydrates:
It is an organic compound made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Carbohydratesare the main energy source
for our body. about45-60% of our energy intake should come from carbohydrates.

These are the proteins which make everything happen, e.g. to break down food for absorption; to regulate the
entry of nutrients through
cell walls, and the removal of waste-products; to grow, develop, move, reproduce. (Many enzy mesalso need
specific vitamins and minerals to function);
Haemoglobin the protein which, with iron, carries oxygen around your body;Myoglobin and elastin

These are the two mainproteins in muscle fibres;Bones are mainly proteins, with calcium, magnesiumand
phosphate;Hormones which send chemical messages between nerve cells and to regulate metabolism; Antibodies
which circulate in your blood to potect you against viruses; andKeratin which forms your hair and nailsLiterally
every function of your cells, organs and whole body is controlled by proteins. They are allmade within the body
from smaller molecules which ultimately come from foods. None of our body proteins arrive ready made.
Role of nutrients contd.,
Fats: Our body uses the fat we eat, and fats we make from other nutrients in our bodies, to
provide the energy for most of our life-functions. Fat is an energy store. Fat is needed for healthy
skin and tissues.
Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E need fats as they are soluble in fat only
Vitamins: Vitamins are compounds which are necessary for our normal growth and function,
whichwe cannot make within our bodies, and so we mustobtain them from our foods. Most of the
compounds needed for our body cells tof unction for our health, can be made by our cells
Minerals: They are important for building strong bones and teeth, blood, skin, hair, nerve function,
muscle and for metabolic processes such as those that turn the food we eat into energy. This means
that minerals are needed for the body tow ork properly, for growth and development
Fibre: Smooths out digestion and absorption of glucose and fats in the small intestine. It
reduces the G ycaemic Index of a meal.
Provides fuel for the healthful or good bacteria in our large intestine which in turn benefit us by
makingvitamin B12, and by releasing volatile fatty acids from the dietary fibre which are important
for the health of our colon. Speeds up transit through the intestines to remove toxins from the
body

Author got to the awareness falling ill is due to
lack of immunity. This led to the answer that the
right food itself will boost immunity. For more
than 10 years after getting awareness on staying
healthy by eating right balanced poison free food
, also developed knowledge of herbals and ayur
vedha. Employing the knowledge in treating
himself of ailments like stomach upset, food
poisoning, fever, knee pain, giddiness etc. was
successful in curing the ailments and thus proving
right balanced poison free food is every effective
in keeping health naturally
