 Islam is a religion of unity and peace, peace to all
humanity. Islam is the religion that leads humanity from
the depths of illiteracy, darkness and ignorance towards
the right path of light and knowledge. In short, Religion
Islam means peace acquired by all humans by
submitting their will according to the Will of ALLAH
Almighty.

violent. If any Muslim commits any thing bad or wrong, it is directly
or indirectly attributed to religion Islam.
The misinterpretation of many mischievous Non Muslims has given
a bad image to religion of peace. But, at this stage, people should
use their senses and know that Islam is not what any Non Muslim
and enemy of Islam says. Islam is not the scholars interpretation;
Islam is what the Holy Quran says and teaches and what Prophet
Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH Almighty be upon
Him) of Islam says and teaches. These two are the primary sources
of religion Islam.
Muslims are strictly prohibited to force people by tongue, by
weapon or by any forceful act of other faiths to accept religion
Islam. ALLAH Almighty says in verse 2:256

There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right

course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in
Taghut and believes in ALLAH has grasped the most trustworthy
handhold with no break in it. And ALLAH is Hearing and Knowing.
 This is the foundation for tolerance towards every religion of this world
and their people. There is not any force and no compulsion on any
person to accept Islam. If he or she by heart wants to accept religion
Islam, it has to be necessarily and essentially out of their own free will
and wish and must not at the point of sword or weapon. This is the
beauty and essence of Islam. Islam is an open invitation to all
humanity and everyone has right either to accept Islam it or to reject
it. Term Violence is not in the dictionary of religion Islam. There is not
any place for violence in Islam, neither in the Holy Quran nor in the
Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH). It is mentioned in many verse of the Holy
Quran that ALLAH Almighty does not like those people who spread
mischief on this earth.Moreover, the biggest violence considered in
Islam is killing innocent people.
