principle established; in this movie Jail warden Adinath who wants
to reform the lives of six criminals, who are not just any criminals

barren land and the only aim of their lives is to turn the land into
lush green Eden. Thus begins the jailor's experiment with these
outlaws and the battle he has to undergo to keep them working. He
is faced with a lot of opposition from his seniors, but his faith in the
human spirit makes him take that risk. Very soon his efforts turn
fruitful with the six of the criminals growing vegetables and fruits

The movie is an excellent example of Pygmalion effect. (The
Pygmalion effect refers to the phenomenon in which the greater
the expectation placed upon people, the better they perform). When
you start expecting people to do things in a particular way, if you
are persistent enough in your belief, then people will eventually
began to behave accordingly.
Here in controlling there was limitations on individual freedom also
there was difficulties in setting standard and evaluating them but
Jailors faith in criminals human spirit insured against failure.
