Peabody Criminal History

Background Check
The following are required to complete the Peabody process for a criminal history background
check.
Students:
Earning the Peabody degree
Earning special endorsements or certifications or licensure hours
Undergrad whose first or second major is in education or special education
Undergrad whose first or second major is in child development or child
psychology
Students enrolled in classes or working in research who will be in contact with
minors or vulnerable adults
Employees:
Faculty/Adjunct Faculty
Contractors/consultants
Volunteers
Staff cleared through HR or Peabody BCO ask your department AO.

You are not only providing consent for the background check
but there are other terms you are agreeing to abide by.

Once you have
completed the
data entry form
and click submit
you will be
redirected to the
fingerprint
registration
instructions.
Select Appointments.
Be sure you are able to see this information
on the registration instructions when you register
with Identogo.

will not and
CANNOT receive
the report.
You will have to
redo the process
and pay again.

to pay online.
Do not use
If you do not pay online you must have
a cashier check or money order
with you when you go to your appointment.
They do not accept cash, credit/debit,
or check at the print locations.
A Money Order or Cashier's Check
payable to MorphoTrust USA
will be accepted onsite for the exact amount of $38.15.
If you do not have that you will have to reschedule.
It is best to pay online.
The final screen
is your
confirmation/
receipt. You need
to print this and
have it at your
appointment.
It gives your
confirmation
number,
payment, and
appointment day
and time. Your name will be here.
You must add the
location.
On the day of your appointment you must have
your receipt, printed from your online registration,
and GOVERMENT ISSUED ID
that has your photo on it.

Your Vanderbilt ID is not acceptable.
