Existing Organization Problem
Work pressure is high in dynamic competitive environment.
Flooding of data, demands of multitasking, time compression and feeling of
being unsafe in the world.
Leads to lack of emotional self control in executives.
Leads to High Blood pressure and frequent loss of temper creating negative
environment at work place.
This leads to fear among people and they shut themselves down.
Immense working load pressure affects efficiency in work. It may bring the
best out of you in short term but in long term will do more damage.
Demands at workplaces are relentless leading to power stress.
What happens in Management Institute
Two type of feelings are experienced by students
Negative feelings
Narrows the variety of thoughts and actions available.
Ideas reported under these circumstances are attacking and fleeing.
Narrow scope of attention
Leads to diminished creativity
Positive feelings
Wider range of options available to the person under this feeling.
Broader scope of attention

Meditation helps in reduction in frequency of negative thoughts and


even while experiencing are able to react in better acceptable ways.
What happens under stress?
At work when under pressure, Adrenalin, noradrenalin and
corticocosteroids flood the system which raises the heart beat
pumping large amount of bloods.
These problems are deeply harmful over time.
Also leads to people freezing under pressure which is also not a good
sign of good leaders.
So leaders must be able to monitor emotional states.
Leaders are always under spotlight. So the emotion/mood of leaders
are very important.
What is Meditation?
Mediation is a practice which allows the practitioner to dissolve his
mind.
Mediation give Mindfulness which is
A state of being fully present
Being aware of oneself and other people around you.
Becoming sensitive to ones reactions to stressful situations.
Its a logical step in the process of gaining self awareness
Helps student in becoming an effective leader tomorrow.
Plays important part in developing Leaders in organization become
sustainable successful leaders.
Why Meditation?
Formal training of mindfulness gives the tool to switch from an
avoidant to an approach in mind.
Teaches us to embrace and understand the entirety of each moment.
Real mindfulness is imbued with warmth, care and curiosity.
Increases emotional self awareness level required for good
leadership.

negative feeling effects.
