THINGS NEEDED TO MAKE
HALLOWEEN MYSTERY BOX
Creating Your Halloween Mystery Box
Your first step in creating your Halloween feel box is to find a container to put
each gross item in. Here are some ideas of items you probably all ready have
laying around:
•Tissue boxes
•Cereal boxes
•Shoe boxes
•Moving boxes
•Old Tupperware
You'll want to cut a hole in each box big enough for a hand to reach into but
small enough that you can't see the contents of the box.
You can make your Halloween feel box extra spooky by painting them black,
putting duct tape over them, covering them with a sheet, or draping fake spider
webs over them. You can even go as far as putting the boxes together to make
it look like a coffin.
Frankenstein Eyes
These bloodshot eyes are a real treat, and fun to make!
Ingredients

•Sugar cookies
•White frosting
•Extra-large chocolate baking chips
•Red gel frosting in tubes, or red candy laces

Directions
First, stress the importance of cleanliness in food preparation, and have
students wash up. Give each student a sugar cookie and some white frosting.
Have students frost the cookies to the edges. Place one large chocolate chip
(point down) in the center of the cookie (the pupil of the eye). With the red gel
frosting, draw wiggly lines from the chocolate chip to the edge (the bloodshot
lines). Or, cut strips of the red candy laces, and place them from the center to
the edge.
CONCLUSION
 all children can learn to accept others’ cultures and enhance
their knowledge
 children become familiar to the idea that there are many
lifestyles, languages, cultures, and points of view.
 It was a very rewarding experience for the students and the
teachers.
 explain the festivity of Halloween, the trick or treat tradition
and could say a poem and sing songs.
