Early life
At the age of 28 he left his home
town and went to Milan
In Milan Augustine became a
teacher of rhetoric
He resigned from his teaching job
Mid life only two years later
After Milan Augustine returned
home and started A life of constant
partying
Even his mother could not get him
to turn his life around

He does this and is filled with immense
guilt for his actions
This is the beginning of Augustine’s
conversion

St. Augustine was then baptized by St.
Ambrose
He then started living righteously and
wrote over hundreds of books for the
Catholic Church
He also became the bishop of Hippo
Augustine’s
