Objective: By the end of the lesson, the pupils
should be able to construct simple sentences with
guidance

Step 1- Pre Writing
1. Teacher divides the pupils into two groups.
2. Teacher distributes a set of picture cards to group 1
and a set of word cards to group 2.
3. Pupils take turn to paste the picture cards and
match them with the correct word cards.
4. Teacher drills the pupils to pronounce and spell the
word correctly.

Step 2- While Writing
1.Teacher distributes a cloze-text to each pupil.
2.Teacher plays the tape twice and the pupils
listen.
3.The pupils complete the cloze-text while
listening to the tape.
4.Teacher discusses the answers with the
pupils.
5.The pupils read the text.

Step 3- Post Writing
1.Teacher distributes worksheets of 2 different
levels.

sentences.
