CLASS TEDDY DIARY
 Brief description
 This activity encourages pupils to reflect on event 
experienced with ‘teddy’ by writing their thought and 
reflection. Children are encourage  to record in their 
activity with ‘class teddy’ and talk about it in class.
 Objectives
 To encourage pupils to share their experience
 To improve writing and speaking skills
 Learn responsibility.

 Best practices
 Pupils may present it during weekly assembly.
 Pupils shouldn’t think of this activity as homework, and 
they shouldn’t be forced to do it. But the parents are 
there to facilitate the process. 
IMPLEMENTATION STEPS
 Teacher prepares the material needed (teddy 
bear, notebook, bag)
 Teacher provides guidelines of writing.

 Teacher shows example of reflection as a 
supporting ideas.
 Prepare schedule for pupils.

 Encourage pupils to share their reflection with 
class.
 Provide positive feedback

 Inform parents regarding this activity.

IMPLEMENTATION STEPS

 Teacher provides ideas to pupils what they want 
to present (Role play, simple action song, simple 
choral speaking)
 Pupils discuss among them what they want to 
present.
 Teacher assists with the materials if they need.

 Pupils present to the teacher and teacher give 
ideas of improvement.
 Pupils present it during weekly assembly.
 Adaptation ideas
 Allow pupils to use their own creativity for upper 
primary.
 A simple fun activity for the lower primary (action song, 
singing)
