 How “FREEZE FIRE -H Work”
Automatic Operation, Option A: At the time of fire, the temperature rises,
sensor cable detects the fire and gives signal to the control panel. The control panel
starts alarm to alert driver, and the personnel of the surrounding area. It also gives visual
signal on control panel. After few second it energies the electromechanical actuator which
puncture rapture disc located in expellant cartridge valve. From expellant cartridge
pressurized gas, Carbon dioxide enters into main cylinder which is filled with fire
extinguisher agent. Expellant gas fluidizes fire extinguishing agent and it flows through
distribution system to fixed nozzles and on hazard area and fire gets suppressed.
•Manually, Option B: In the event of fire, operator can also activate system manually.
(1) Operator have to break the glass and push the button for manual operation.
(2) Have to break the seal and then push the knob of main cylinder cap.
(3) Have to push the knob of pilot cartridge assembly located on the bumper or
near stairs. After this it will work same as the Automatic Operation Option A.

of the vehicle so that he could alert,
any person, standing behind.

Therefore in order to avoid

accident, during reversing, a safety
device to alarm, with sound and
visual indicator to the person
standing behind the vehicle is
needed.
Radar Based Proximity Warning System
• SafeAlert Proximity Warning System (PWS) works on the radio frequency at 2.4 GHz.

• It gives both audio as well as visual indicator to alert the Dumper operator when it
detects object in the sensing range of the RADAR sensor (Radio Detection And
Ranging). This Radar sensor works on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW)
technology and detects stationary as well as moving objects.

• SafeAlert PWS provides continuous monitoring of the obstruction in the virtual target
area and in the blind spot and alerts the dumper operator.

• The system gives the visual indication which increases in intensity as the object comes
closer to the operator.

• The audible tone beeps per second increases as an object becomes closer. Nearer the
object, sound alert will give more beeps/sec.
 Ultrasonic Proximity Warning Sensor

 The sensor module provides very short to long-range detection and ranging, in an extra compact,
robust CPVC housing, designed to resist water intrusion. This sensor has a new high power output
along with real-time auto calibration for changing conditions (temperature, voltage, acoustic or
electrical noise) ensuring reception of the most reliable (in air) ranging data for every reading taken.

 The low power operation detects objects from 400 mm to 5000 mm (16.4 feet) and provides sonar
range information with 10-mm resolution. The interface output format is: pulse-width/serial output.

Auto Dipper System
Auto dipper System consists of
sensor unit and control unit. When high
beam light of approaching vehicle falls
on the sensor, it gives signals to the
control unit which automatically dips
the headlamp beam from high to low.
 The moment vehicle passes away,
again control unit receive the signal
from sensor and changes the beam
back to high very efficiently.
The equipment is lightweight and as
an additional measure, easy to install,
without disturbing the existing manual
arrangement.
Seat Belt Reminder
A seat belt is a safety device used to
secure the operator of a vehicle
against a collision or a sudden stop. A
seat belt functions to reduce causality
or serious injury.
It is provided with covered spring
loaded Reel and an Inertial Locking
mechanism.
 1. Seat Belt with covered inertial Reel:
Our Seat Belt is rolled on the spring loaded reel so that it can be pulled,
slowly and gradually, when the operator is to fasten it. It will lock if pulled fast.

 2. It is provided with Inertial Locking mechanism:

The purpose of Inertial Locking mechanism is to provide the Seated Operator
some free movement in normal situation but stop the belt from extending during
sudden pull in severe collision or sudden stop, and thereby restrains the
Driver/Operator in position.

 3. It is provided with vehicle-sensitive lock:

A vehicle-sensitive lock is based on a pendulum swung away from its plumb
position by rapid deceleration or rollover of the vehicle.

 4. It is provided with pendulum:

When this pendulum swings away from its normal plumb position due to sudden
deceleration or rollover, a pawl is engaged, the reel locks and the strap restrains
the belted occupant in position.
 Body Lifting Indicator
When body is in high position and the
dumper moves, it may break the overhead
HT line and cause fatal accident. To avoid
this situation Body Lift Indicator alerts the
operator.

When body is in high position, it exerts

heavy pressure on hydraulic system and if
dumper moves, hydraulic system may fail.

The dumper operator when listen in

human voice that “डाला ऊपर है ”, easily
understands that body is lifted position
and takes all necessary precautions to
avoid accident.
As soon as operator lifts the body to high position, Body Lifting Indicator
immediately alert in human voice “डाला ऊपर है ” This alarm continues for eight
seconds. Since such voice should not disturb the operator, it discontinue for
one minute. This cycle is repeated for 5 times for a period of approximately 5
minutes and then human voice stops, whereas LED blinking continue till body is
lowered to the normal position.

A button to mute the human voice announcement is also provided in the

equipment. Through which operator can mute the announcement, if he desires
so.
Rear Vision System

While reversing HEMM like dumpers and

tippers used in mining are not free of the
possibility of hazardous accidents at the rear
end. Several accidents have occurred in
opencast mines while reversing equipment.
Though Audio- visual alarm and rear view
mirrors are safety items available to control
this kind of accidents, but they do not give
clear view of the rear side of the vehicle.
Rear Vision System with the help of
Camera & Monitor delivers clear view of the
rear to the operator and thereby achieves
zero accident target for mining vehicle.
 Tyre Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS)
1. TPMS equipped with LED system unit.

2.Automatic calibration system. (Whenever remove TPMS

and refit it, with self-calibration the TPMS gets re-calibrated
depending upon the pressure and the temperature available in
the Tyre).

3. LED indicating Alarm system for difference in psi (6 psi for OTR
Tyres).

A Microcontroller unit, it receive signal

from individual sensors. Then it
processes the signal and gives proper
controller signal. Indication is provided
for the entire three situations and for
Power ON through bright LED to the
dumper operator. This also gives the
human voice alert to take proper alert
to the operator.
