POINTERS FOR STUDENTS

• Research bacteria to find the names of some of
them.
• Make a list of the bacteria.
• Talk about the illnesses they cause.
• Give some recommendations to prevent those
illnesses.
• Present your presentation in a card board.

Group: Individual.

The cell is the basic unit of life.
Let’s see the parts of the cell!!

_tissues_organs/cell_structure5.php
• What part of the cell allows materials to enter and
leave the cell?

• What types of materials do you think the cell

membrane allows to enter the cell?

• What helps keep the cell parts in place?

• What part of the cell can be compared with your

brain? Why?
Consists of unicellular
lifeforms.

Cells are far simpler

and more basic than
the cells of other
lifeforms.

These cells have no

nucleus and are also
missing parts found in
other cells.
BACTERIA SHAPES

Bacillus Coccus Spirillus

(Rod) (Sphere) (Spiral)
Unicellular lifeforms (lifeforms with only one cell) who have a
nucleus.

The primary difference between

protists and monera is that protists
are more complex, having a
nucleus.
