Introduction
When you visit a place, if you are bringing your
own car you might as well looking for an empty space
for parking. But looking for a parking isn’t easy
nowadays, especially when you are in a very busy
place, might as well leave your car in the sideways,
creating a mess and later on creating traffic but leaving
you in a comfortable way, but is it right?

Our main objective is to lessen or remove the

traffic that is caused by the illegal parking of public
and private vehicles.
Analysis
Traffic is the main problem here in the
Philippines, but what causes the traffic that make our
patience go beyond its limits. One problem we see is
the illegal parking of both private and public vehicles
around the certain area or community, the illegally
parked vehicles can block the pathway for other cars.
Sometimes, the main road of a very busy place is a
victim of the illegal parking of the vehicles, they
occupy one or two lanes on the street.
Status Report

 Almost everyday, the traffic starting at Nicanor

Reyes Street up to P. Paredes Street becomes worst
one of the main reasons is that the illegal parking of
both private and public vehicles and the reservation
of parking of the stores.

 As of now, the Manila City Hall is implementing

“Anti-Illegal Parking or Citywide Mapping” which
was implemented yesterday January 11, 2018.
 Owners of towed light vehicles will have to pay
P3,800; P5,000for medium sized vehicles such as
vans and SUVs; P8,000 for heavy vehicles such as
trucks and P2,00for jeepneys. Parked motorcycles
will be spared since they can be removed or
transferred with ease. While on the clamped
vehicles will be fined P900.
Recommendation

 Tow or use wheel clamps on all the public and

private vehicles that are parked on the sideways.

 Put road signs for them to be aware of the policies.

 Creating a proper terminal for jeepney drivers

which they can load and unload passengers .

 Add more traffic enforcer to the community just to

be sure that the car owners will not park on illegal
places.
 Provide a parking lot at P. Paredes Street across
FEU-IT near Professional Regulation Commission
(PRC).
