Neighborhood assessment – ArcGIS and SAM interface
Identification of the cities to be utilized in Sam for the simulation of CSP plants
LAYOUTS CONSIDERED
Scheduled dispatch of thermal energy stored from 2 pm to 10 pm for every month of the year.
For the three layouts considered, simulation of the CSP virtual plants consisted only in alterating solar
multiple and cities. The other technical parameters of the CSP plants remained constant.
Premisas utilizadas:
Área de interese: proximidad a
red básica 230 kV (separación de 5
km)
Potencial: 1,67% del área de
interés
Densidad: 50 MW/km2 Extensión SIN @ 230 kV: 43.200 km
Área de interés: 1,67% x 43.200 km x 10 km =
7.214 km2
