Population : All FEB UI Students
Respondent : 63 FEB UI Students

Sample Survey.
A sample survey is a study that obtains data from a subset of
population, in order to estimate population attributes.

We collect the data from online questionnare

Based on all measures of dispersion discussed (standard deviation
and variance), we can conclude that the Total spending per months is
more dispersed than the spending in bookstore per month . Therefore
the spending other than for books per month (foods, rent, etc) is more
dispersed than that of the spending for books.

CONCLUSION
1. FEB UI Students’ preferences of a bookstore is Gramedia
2. There is an influence on spending to students’ preferences on
bookstore, which is students with middle income which is
1.000.000-3.000.000 tend to have probability of choosing
Gramedia higher than any other range of income
3. But there is no influence from gender for choosing Bookstore, both
gender choose Gramedia mostly for their preference on bookstore
