brother but the sister died in 1987
and her brother, Robby died in
2018
She has written songs for both.

Fallen, the debut studio album released

in 2003, started their gothic sound.

The Open Door(2006) is ‘darker’ in tone

and sound as the lyrics describe the
more difficult parts of life

The self-titled “Evanescence” was

described as fun but not ‘poppy’, that
she was inspired by her relationship
with her fans.

During evanescence three year hiatus in 2013, Amy Lee made her first score with composer Dave Eggar
for the indie film “Aftermath” which features a different sound than what fans would expect from Lee.

In 2016, Lee released “Dream too Much” about her life as a mother and dedicated to her son.
