Range of Port

The TCP/UDP port range is 0~65535, which is divided into three


segments:
• 0~1023: Identifies some standard services, such as FTP, Telnet,
and Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP).

• 1024~49151: Assigned by Internet Assigned Number Authority


(IANA) to the registered applications.

• 32768~65535: Private port numbers, which are dynamically


assigned to any applications.
