Objective
• To understand the transformations of different communities throughout
time to recognize the main characters and events that took place in
them.

• Learning Objective: To describe how communities have changed and


what people have done to contribute to the progress of those places.

Speaking Project
• Students will associate how the Holy Spirit guide their lives to
be built as a skycrapper they will choose to make a model
of it in any part of the world.
• Due Date: August 1st.

Changes Over Time
• Events that happened long ago often affect communities today, or
in the present. What happens today will affect communities in the
future, or in the time still to come.
Project
The students will organize an exhibition on
skyscrapers. Arrange students in groups of 4.
Each group will choose a skyscraper from
around the world and build a model of it using
different materials in the classroom. Students,
will investigate, write and explain in class, a
description of the building's history.
Due Date: July 3rd
Activities
• Workshop: Student´s book page 159, exercises 1, 2,
3,4, 6.

• Homework:
Make a timeline showing some important things, You
can add some pictures to your timeline.
Extra Credits
• Create a poster explaining how your community has changed.
• It could be wether barranquilla or your neighborhood.
