* TABLE OF SPECIFICATION
 test blueprint
 a written plan needed for the construction of an achievement test
 presents the a) learning outcomes to be tested, b)number of
recitation days, c) number of items for each learning outcomes to
be tested, d) percentage of items, e) item placement.

 LEARNING OUTCOMES to be tested are expressed as instructional


objectives.
 INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES are written in behavioral terms. It
contain both behavior and content or topic/subject matter.
 The number of recitation days – the number of teacher developed a
particular objective. It can be determined by looking at the lesson
plan in a particular grading period. Count the number of days
particular objective is covered.
 The number of items for each objective is determined by
the formula.
 Percentage of items
- tells the proportion of the entire test is given to each
type of competency/learning outcome/objective.

Item placement
 specifies the location of a particular number of items in
the entire test.
 use for easy reference to determine which of the
skill/competency is mastered or not mastered by the
students.
TWO WAY GRID TABLE OF SPECIFICATION

Purpose: to assure that a particular test will measure


a representative sample of learning outcome and the
content to be covered.

 it indicates the objectives to be measured and their


classification according to Bloom’s Taxonomy of
Educational Objectives (Cognitive domain)
