JOY IS FOUND IN

MEANINGFUL
RELATIONSHIPS
 A person who doesn’t know this truth will
have a hard time handling any kind of
relationship, be it family, neighbors, relatives,
friends, school mates, workmates and even
those who don’t like you. What is at stake here
is that he will live a life full of conflicts and be
robbed of the peace and joy that can only be
attained thru meaningful relationships.

Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with
the overseers and deacons:
 Grace and peace to you from God
our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God every time I
remember you.
 In all my prayers for all of you, I
always pray with joy because of
your partnership in the gospel from
the first day until now,
being confident of this, that he who
began a good work in you will carry
it on to completion until the day of
Christ Jesus.
It is right for me to feel this way about all of
you, since I have you in my heart and,
whether I am in chains or defending and
confirming the gospel, all of you share in
God’s grace with me.
God can testify how I long for all
of you with the affection of
Christ Jesus.
 And this is my prayer: that your
love may abound more and more
in knowledge and depth of
insight,
 so that you may be able to
discern what is best and may be
pure and blameless for the day
of Christ,
 filled with the fruit of
righteousness that comes through
Jesus Christ - to the glory and
praise of God.

4Tuwing ipinapanalangin ko kayong lahat,
ako'y laging nagagalak 5 dahil sa inyong
pakikiisa sa pagpapalaganap ng
Magandang Balita tungkol kay Cristo, mula
nang ito'y inyong tanggapin hanggang sa
kasalukuyan.
 6 Natitiyak kong ang mabuting
gawang pinasimulan sa inyo ng
Diyos ay kanyang lulubusin
hanggang sa araw ng pagbabalik ni
Jesu-Cristo.
7 Minamahal ko kayo, kaya dapat lang na
pahalagahan ko kayo nang ganito at dahil
magkasama tayong tumanggap ng
pagpapala ng Diyos, noon pa man nang
ako'y malayang nagtatanggol at
nagpapalaganap ng Magandang Balita at
kahit ngayong ako'y nakabilanggo.
 8Nalalaman ng Diyos na ang
pananabik ko sa inyong lahat ay
kagaya ng pagmamahal sa inyo
ni Jesu-Cristo.
9 Idinadalangin ko sa Diyos na ang
inyong pag-ibig ay patuloy na
sumagana at masangkapan ng
malinaw na kaalaman at
pagkaunawa,
 10upang mapili ninyo ang
pinakamahalaga sa lahat. Sa
gayon, pagbabalik ni Cristo,
matatagpuan kayong malinis,
walang kapintasan,
 at sagana sa magagandang

katangiang kaloob sa inyo ni

Jesu-Cristo, sa ikararangal at
ikadadakila ng Diyos.

WITH HOW
YOU SEE
YOURSELF
 Servants do not demand their own
way. That’s one of the secrets to joy.
Joy grows out of how you see yourself
in your relationship with other people.
If you see yourself as a servant and
choose to give your life to serving
others, it increases your joy. If you’re
forced to be a servant, it decreases
your joy. But when you choose to be a
servant and give your life to serving
others, there’s an increase of joy.
