person's response patterns are compared to others who are known to have certain traits or disorders. The information gained is powerful and can lead to a more accurate clinical picture and the potential creation of special accommodations. Objective Test

invented this method of testing. His first experiment was conducted in 1897 and consisted of choosing a selection of words and letting his mind free associate. Projective Test

generated in reaction to the original list and put them into new classifications which led think more about the possibilities of sub- consciousness and thought. Projective Test
