Definition
Sub clause functions as an adjective.
Adjective functions to modify NOUN
So….adjective clause is SUB CLAUSE FUNCTIONS
TO MODIFY NOUN.
Look at the following examples
• The happy woman danced across the street.

WHO/WHOM
The woman who works in the company is my neighbor.

She interviewed to the man who won the game.

The girl whom you talked to works in the advertising company.


Relative Clause for Things
(THAT/WHICH)
• The students read the book that they borrow
from the library.
• The car which hit the wall is in the police
station now.
• The song that we will sing in the choir is very
popular today.

• This is the park where we usually played in the old time.
