Unilever Indonesia
Public Health and Education Program is a
CSR program that focuses on hygiene
and health in the community. The aim of
the PHE Program is (1) to promote a
healthy lifestyle in the community; and (2)
reducing mortality and rates of sickness
caused by diarrhea and malaria, through
providing better access to sanitation and
changing people's behavior by
encouraging them to adopt a healthy
lifestyle.
The Humanitarian Aid Program focuses
on humanitarian assistance after natural
disasters. Unilever works with several
organizations, such as Indonesia Cares,
Cares for Bengkulu, and Sharing for
Indonesia in raising funds and distributing
aid to victims of natural disasters during
the emergency and reconstruction.

The Small Medium Enterprise
Development Program is carried out in
the form of Black Soybean Farmers
Development. This program was carried
out in collaboration with Gajah Mada
University (UGM) to involve farmers in
producing quality black soybeans, known
as MALLIKA or 'kingdom'. The program
implementation locations are Ciwalen,
Yogyakarta, Nganjuk, and Trenggalek.
Until 2007, 600 farmers managed 600
hectares of black soybean land.
The Environment Program is
implemented to solve environmental
problems, especially the problem of
waste, which is one of the main sources
comes from household waste.
