ACADEMIC PROGRAM
• A strong academic program with more than 200 possible course selections including an extensive
vocational-technical curriculum, electives in art, speech, drama, journalism, music, foreign languages, math,
English, science, and social studies.
• Students may participate in a wide selection of vocational offerings both at the Fort Bend Technical
Education Center and on the Austin campus.
• 34 College Board Approved AP classes are offered in math, science, English, social studies, foreign languages,
and fine arts & 19 Pre AP/ Honors classes.

• Instruction is available for special needs through Special Education, ESOL Instruction, and Gifted and
Talented classes. Access to on-line, real time grades and attendance.
Stephen F. Austin High School has a wide array of
UIL competitive sports, as well as Junior Varsity
and Freshman level teams. These are for both boys
