 Story Twilight is about Bella, an average 17 year old girl who
moves to Forks, WA to live with her father after her mother remarries
a traveling minor league baseball player. In Forks, she meets Edward, a
mysterious, gorgeous, private student, who tends to travel in a pack
with his family. Edward is immediately repulsed 击退 by Bella, and the
two develop a mutual dislike for the other. A few months of
repugnance反感, their relationship is changed when Edward saves
Bella from a potentially fatal car accident. Bella immediately knows
there‘s something not quite human about Edward, but he retains 保留
his distance until Bella finds herself in another dangerous situation.
Edward again saves her, and the two develop a friendship that quickly
turns into an exclusive relationship. Bella discovers that Edward and his
family are vampires, but who have chosen a "vegetarian" and survive
off of animal blood instead of killing humans.
 Bella and Edward develop a very deep, intense 强烈 relationship
very quickly, but maintains their “virtue” despite their zealous attraction to
each other 热烈的互相吸引. The relationship appears to be perfect, and for
a while it is. During a baseball game between Edward and his vampire family,
a trio of rogue vampires stumble upon their game, and the leader
immediately makes a move for Bella as a "snack". The protective nature of
Edwards family creates a deadly game of cat and mouse between Bella and
James, the vampire who is determined to drink Bella dry. Edward's family
devises a plan to create a diversion in the hopes of distancing Bella from
James.
The plan backfires, and Bella is lured into a trap James as set. James
takes his time psychologically tormenting Bella about her impending demise.
Before James can finish off Bella, Edward intercedes, saving Bella and
destroying James. To everyone's surprise, Bella has been bitten, and Edward
must suck out the poison or allow her to become a vampire. Edward,
believing that once a person becomes a vampire they are doomed for Hell,
refuses to put Bella's soul in jeopardy and sucks out the poison. Things start
to return to normal, but the story ends with James' mate, Victoria, seeking
revenge for the mate Edward stole from her.
