Smart City Plan & Proposal (SCP)
For Evaluating Smart City Plan and Proposal in Stage-2 competition, the
following details are required.
1. Desk review of all information and data harnessed from the Town
& Country planning directory prepared by the Census of India and
National Sample Survey Organizations, data from Other surveys
and data collected by various departments and agencies.
2. Review the previous and current development plans (City level and
Site Specific) and studies conducted for the preparation of CDP,
CSP, CMP and Master Plan.
MAPPING
SCP – City Profile – Mapping
Base Map with all relevant systems and networks as they exist
today.
Base Map showing physical, administrative and other
characteristics (Natural features, Heritage areas, Areas prone
to Flooding, Slums etc.,)
Base plan shows the context in location of the city, within a
radius about 25 km, from the centre of the city.
It should contain spatial and physical layout / Morphology,
Street Network, Open & green spaces, Geographical features
and land marks and infrastructure (incl. Transportation, Water
Supply, Sewerage, Electricity Distribution)
SCP – City Profile – City level Self
Assessment
Based on Smart City Features, and Self
Assessment form, the City may choose their
needs in smart city.
The selection of smart city will not be judged
on current performance, but rather on
demonstration of a thorough understanding
of the existing conditions in the city and a
proposal that responds to those conditions in
optimum time period.
