How to maintenance some mechanical parts

SOME PARTS OF GAS ENIGNE AND HOW TO MAINTAIN THEM :

1- Change the lubrication oil.

2- clean and check the batteries
3- check the belt tension
4- lubricate air compressor
5- lubricate alternator bearings
# the alternator used to charge the battery and to power the electrical system, when its engine is
running.
6- inspect auxiliary pump ( cooling system )
7- lubricate and check any bearings found.
8- replace any part which has any corrosion
 How can you detect the bearings corrosion and
what are their function?
 What is the function of lubrication oil?
 2- quintuplex pump (mud pump)
This pump used during drilling operations
 quintuplex is a classification of this pump

Which houses the crankshafts and other parts that
produce the power

Which convert the reciprocating action of the power end

into suction and discharge power for the drilling fluid

1- clean crankcase air breather with a non – explosive solvent

(why ??)

Crankcase must have a source of fresh clean air, called the crankcase breather
Crankcase air ventilation system

2- check all studs, nuts, and cap screws for tightness.

3- inspect the two parts of the pump.
4- clean pump, good housing is most important to good
maintenance.
Three Mixers 0f Tanks

• function:- mix the components of the petrol, keep them homogenous and remove the
petrol cover the tank.
• How to maintenance
• Check oil level; check if lube oil is contaminated with crude oil.
• Check mixers angles, three mixers should be at the same angle.
• Monitor mixer operation and record operation parameters heat, vibration and noise,
• Check leak from packing.
HPS Disposal Pumps

• High pressure pumps:- clear rubbish regularly, disposal of hazardous waste and disposal
of tank waste.
• How to maintain
• Check and feel pump sound and vibration level.
• Inspect suction and discharge connections for leaks.
• Inspect thrust chamber and cooling system for leaks.
• Check suction filter, clean the filter if required.
Oil Booster Pump

• Function:- increase the pressure of fluid to pass from tank to tank or to pass from stage
to the next stage.
