PRESSURE SIGNAL Patient monitoring in Intensive Care Units (ICU) requires collection and processing of high volumes of data. High sensitivity of sensors leads to significant number of false alarms which cause alarm fatigue. Reduction of false alarms can lead to better reaction time of medical personnel. This study aims to develop a method for false alarm suppression and evaluate it on a publicly available dataset with manually annotated alarms. Blood pressure is one of the major diseases in the world to control that we are doing lot of things. When we are in hospital the blood pressure patients are monitored using the human power that is very time consuming. To overcome this problem we design a project that is we can monitored through PC with help of sensors and through wireless communication. First, automated feature engineering was performed using the signal for Arterial Blood Pressure (ABP) and a processed signal that contained the times of each heartbeat from the ABP signal. Here the blood pressure sensor if fixed in the patient’s body and the blood pressure details is transmitted through the Zigbee wireless communication to the PC in the monitored section. And if any abnormal condition is happened the buzzer will alert the user in the monitoring section. This information’s are displayed in LCD display.
