ACH for Equality:


Working with universities in Turkey, the project is a mix
of Women Rights with Career Development. With a
cooperation with AIESEC, international interns with
different background and from different countries will
work for preparing university students to their future
career plans and to create social awareness about
equal gender chances in the job market in Turkey.
According to researches, in Turkey, the unemployment
rate for young people (15-24 years old) is 19%, and
most of them are women. Only 33% of the employees in
Turkey are women, and 67% are men. The rate of
women in the Turkish Parliament is 14,4% and men is
85,6%, and the rate of Senior Women Managers is 9,3%
and 90,7% of all Senior Managers in the country are
men. According to the New Civil Code (2002) in Turkey,

onsult’N GO:
Working with mid-sized NGOs in Turkey, the project
aims to develop their performance through providing
management consultancy. With a cooperation with
AIESEC, international interns with management
background are coming from different countries to
develop topics like Structure, Marketing, Human
Resources, Finance Structure, Financial Business Model
(for a Social Sustainable organization), Strategy,
Planning, Process optimization and creating
performance indicators. According to researches, the
NGO Managers in Turkey, lead the organizations with
passion, but most of them have lack of management
skills which makes their NGOs low impactful. AIESEC
brings in this project, international interns (university
students from 18-30 years or recent-

Working in High Schools in Turkey, the project aims to
develop English Skills and Cultural Understanding in
High School Students through interactive
presentations, discussions and activities related to
themes connected with Turkey’s Real Social Issues.
Justification:
Even though English education is included in the
national education system, according to Researches,
the English Level of Turkey is considered as low
proficiency in the global scenario and one of the lowest
between the European countries. Also according to the
Annual European Report, Human Rights, Democracy
and Discrimination based on color, gender, religion and
minorities are top issues in the country for its social
development, which prevents the country to be

Giving classes to high school students related to Turkey’s Real
Social Issues in order to develop their English Skills and Cultural
Understanding about their culture and other realities in different
countries
Activate the students’ leadership potential through classes,

terms of Cultural Understanding, Human Rights, Education

Youth Unit:
The aim of the project is to create awareness about
human rights among university students and make
them learn the problems of the other countries and
also compare it with the situation in Turkey. The
process of the project will be like this:The interns (10)
will have trainings about different branches of human
rights and have meetings with NGOs to have a
perspective about the situation in Turkey in terms of
human rights so that they will be able to compare it
with their own countries.Interns will be responsible of

ak Up The Barriers:
Break up the barriers project started to perform in LC
Bursa in 2011. It
performs during summer and winter seasons in two
terms. Basically intern will teach basic english and
show their tallent to our disabled children and we will
carry out different activities with volunteer friends who
come from in different parts of world. Aims of project ;
to overcome the prejudice which consists against

Job Describtions:
Intern should have some knowledge about disability and
have eager to work with them. Research about
rehabilitation centers and projects about special children
in the home country. Intern should also bring traditional
clothes, food and drinks from his/her country for attending
culturel events ( global village etc)

participating in daily activities,giving basic English lessons
for 4 days a week according to the weekly schedule

Interns have to have knowledge about “Language
Learning (how people learn English effectively in their
country", "Cultural Differences between their culture and
Turkish culture", "Social Media - facebook, twitter, etc.
(negative and positive effects of social media on our

Job Describtions:
Exchange participant must be in the café at the working days
and speak English with customers. Make them feel welcomed
and help them keep their motivation in learning and
practicing English because people of Kocaeli are shy and
unconfident about their English knowledge and afraid of being
judged if they make mistakes while speaking
Exchange participant must attend to every kind of cultural or
training activities that Café will organize. It can be a cultural
night of the EP’s culture or Karaoke nights etc.

Many students from different cultures and continents
will come together. This project, will bring all kinds of
new discoverıes about countries and cultures on an
international scale. We will be united together to learn
and discover the truth of prejudice. Studies supported
by activities in discussion groups will be dealt with in
order to correct these judgments. Thus, increasing the

Job Describtions:
First 5 days - integrational time, which include: 1.Integration
seminar oriented to Turkish culture, communication during
internship, norms and facts according to workspace and
conditions, expectations for both sides. 2. Get2know time
with Local Committee. 3. Seminars about job description,
mission of the project and measurement of success. During
internship intern will also have LEAD blocks
EP team member,working in a team of 4-5 interns and 10-20
students,responsible to collect all the materials,outputs from

The objective of the project is to raise awareness about
the current situation of women in societies and how the
figure of woman is reflected in Turkish media and
interns' respective countries. Expected result from the
interns is to present comparative academical research
on the issue to detect the problems and to offer
solution propositions.

Exchange participant has to make comparative
researches about women in media in Turkey and their
respective countries before and after realization
Exchange participants have to arrange meetings and
interviews with working women from different sociological
and economical background within and outside of

with an accademical approach.

Theme:
Consultancy in Business and Development.
Description:

Working with mid-sized NGOs in Turkey, the project aims to develop
