DAY 01
The journey begins from the
capital of India- New Delhi. The
train is then headed towards Bodh
Gaya (Bihar)- A t i n y town known
for its numerous Buddhist
Monasteries and temples.
DAY 02
Bodh Gaya attracts a large number of devotees
to Maha Bodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Falgu River
and Royal Bhutan Monastery. Maha Bodhi
temple is built around the prominent Bodhi
Tree, under which Lord Buddha attained
Enlightenment after several days of
meditation. The Divine used to practice
meditation at the banks of the river Falgu. The
King of Bhutan gifted this Royal Monastery
to Lord Buddha.
DAY 03
The train further heads towards
Nalanda/Rajgir. The popular tourist attractions
here are – a temple which is dedicated to Lord
Sun and Hieun Tsang Memorial Hall which was

DAY 05
The train will now take you to the Birthplace of
Lord Buddha that is Lumbini. Few kilometres away
from Kathmandu this sacred place has many
monuments, monasteries, temples and museums.

Ashokan Pillar, Myanmar Golden Temple, World
Peace Pagoda, China Temple and Lumbini Museum.
DAY 06

FEW KILOMETRES AWAY FROM GORAKHPUR

(UTTAR PRADESH) IS THE FAMOUS PILGRIMAGE
SITE KNOWN AS KUSHINAGAR WHERE THE GREAT
LORD BUDDHA ATTAINED PARINIRVANA. OTHER

The t r a i n now heads towards
the spectacular city of Agra
which is famous for Taj
Mahal, one of the Seven
Wonders of the World. The
marvellous structure of Agra
Fort is also not to be missed.
