Chandra Yonzon
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), founder and Director
Mr Chandra Yonzon is a Chief Executive officer and director of Royal Gurkhas Institute of
Technology. He is also a Hon. consul General of Nepal to Victoria. Mr Chandra Yonzon
believes in quality education as it plays an important role in the socio-economic
development of a country. Mr Chandra Yonzon came from Nepal to Australia in 1990. Mr
Chandra Yonzon has 20+ years of experience in restaurant and hospitality industry.
Born in the year 1961 in the Himalayan nation - Nepal, Mr Chandra Yonzon migrated to
Australia in the year 1989. From a young immigrant to becoming the Hon. Consulate
General of Nepal to Victoria, Mr Chandra Yonzon has come a long way with his sheer
determination and hard work. As a founder and CEO of RGIT, he has worked towards
helping the Nepalese students to get the higher education.
Also, as the Hon. Consulate General of Nepal, Mr Chandra Yonzon has been providing
efficient and transparent consular services to Nepalese community in Victoria.
Always striving to provide better facilities and bring the Nepalese community together,
Mr Chandra Yonzon had contributed a huge of sum $100,000 to build a community
centre in Melbourne.

1. Melbourne Campuse
RGIT Australia has two campuses in Melbourne with its main
campus located in the heart of the Central Business District
(CBD) at 28-32 Elizabeth Street. The main campus is within
50-100m of the key transport hubs: the Elizabeth Street tram
terminal and Flinders Street Train Station. Shops, restaurants,
the General Post Office (GPO) and City Library, Victoria’s
busiest public lending library, are short walks from the
campus.
2. Hobart Campuse
RGIT’s Hobart Campus is located in the centre of Hobart’s
Central Business District (CBD) close to the shopping precinct
of City Mall, the main retail strip and many cafés. It is easy
walking distance to the Post Office and State Library and city
apartments for student accommodation are also nearby.
