• Si se operan por debajo de presión diseño, el desecante realiza más esfuerzo para la remoción y mantener
el dew point.
• Con el mismo volumen de gas, si se aumenta velocidad, podría dañarse el desecante
• Bajas velocidades, requerirían una unidad de mayor diámetro para mantener volúmenes de gas y que sea
correctamente deshidratado

CONSIDERACIONES PARA EL DISEÑO
RELACIÓN ALTURA DEL LECHO/DIÁMETRO
• Se han utilizado unidades con relaciones 1:1, sin embargo la deshidratación es muy pobre debido
a canalizaciones, flujos no uniformes y poco tiempo de contacto en la unidad
