WE CHOOSE JUAN FELIPE VARGAS PROJECT
BECAUSE...

• So we choose Juan Felipe Vargas idea of the different colors of light affecting a plant because it is very
interesting to see which different colors would help the plants to grow not only the light of the sun, but
also it could help if you want to have a plant in a closed space you would just need the color of light
that is better for it
INVESTIGATION QUESTION:

• Which color of light such as green, red, blue, or yellow could be better for a plant to grow ?
HYPOTHESIS:

• Since the normal light that the plants use to grow is from the sun we could think that the plant with
yellow light could grow more and also have a better photosynthesis process.
STEP BY STEP: JUAN FELIPE VARGAS

• Step 1 : Make tree holes in the plastic boxes

• Step 2 : Put the soil in the boxes
• Step 3 : Put the Lettuce seeds in the soil
• Step 4 : Put the PVC tubes in arc shape
• Step 5 : Put the LED light in the top of the arc shape of PVC
• Step 6 :Lining the cellophane paper lids
• Step 7 : Do not let sunlight give it to the bush
 HYPOTHESIS 2 : JUAN FELIPE VARGAS

• If add yellow light to the plant with the salophen paper, then it will grow more
(cm) than the other plants, because yellow light is similar to the one of the sun and each color helps the plant in
a different way so the yellow would be better for the plant to grow and have a better photosynthesis process.
