- Fred Flimmer was described as a tall and thin man. That isn’t enough to prove
it, but his grandmother Sarah had it, so with him being very tall and thin it
would make sense that he had it.

All evidence leads to the conclusion that the killer of Carelton Comet was

Nancy Normal.
Nancy’s Motive

❖ To gain Fred Flimmer’s affections by killing the man who ruined Fred’s life
➢ Known to be in love with Fred
➢ Fred hates his father, Thomas (or Carelton), for killing his mother and sister
❖ Nancy might also blame Thomas for her Aunt’s insanity because of the
kidnapping and murder of her daughter
 Sentence
Nancy Normal would be indicted with first degree murder considering the killing
was willful and premeditated.
