 definition
adjectives are the words you often use in
describing things, events, people’s character or
physical features.

Some adjectives tell about places

(near,far), things (heavy, ugly, plastic), and
even about actions or activities (boring, fun,
long).
Adjectives can also give us information
about how many or how much of the noun
there is (many, more, few)
for example:
Luffy is tall and strong, but not actually very
atheletic.
Tall and strong give a physical description.
Atheletic describes her personality.

The new movie theater has many comfortable

seats!
new describes the movie theater.
comfortable describes the seats.
many tell us the quantity

There are two main types of adjectives:

Attributive.
Predicative.

attributive? an attributive adjective is an adjective
that occurs before the noun.
For example:

The honest driver received a reward from the

lady passenger.
honest (adjective) that occurs before the driver
(noun).
My uncle owns two beautiful cottages
beautiful (adjective) that occurs before
cottages (noun/place)

A predicative is an adjective which

occurs after be, seem, feel, look,
sound, become, and other linking
verb.
For example:
She looks funny.
Looks= linking verb
Funny= adjective
Adjective occurs after linking verb.
Ussop san seems drunk.
seems= linking verb
drunk= adjective
There are four kinds of adjective as follow:

Possesive adjective
Descriptive adjective
Numeral

 Possesive adjective
possesive adjective is the adjective which is used to
point out the noun that belongs to someone and there
are seven possesive adjectives that my, your, our, their,
his, her, and its.
For example:
This is my book
Your car is outside

Descriptive adjective
descriptive adjective is the adjective that used to
tell the sorts of noun or quality.
For example:
Zoro is a tall man
They are good students
 Numeral adjective
numeral adjective is the adjective which is used to
show the number of noun. There are 3 types of numeral
adjective as follow:
definite numeral adjective
definitive numeral is the adjective that used to
denote an exact number of noun as first, second, third, or
one, two, three,....
For example:
Ankor Wat is the seventh wonders of the world.
 Indefinite numeral adjective
Inefinite numeral adjective is the adjective which is
nouns as some, any, much, many, little, a few...
For example:
I have some friend here.

Interrogative adjective
interrogative adjective is the adjective that is used
to ask the question. They are where, what, which,...

For example:
Which animal do you like?
