Definition Of Animal Languages :

Animal languages are form of


non human animal
communication that show
similarities to human language
Characteristic Of Animal Languages :
1. Animals have a forms of communication
gestures, facial expressions, vocalization, and
olfactory signals.
2. The facial expressions are another form of
communication, mostly in dogs. The dogs’
facial expressions reveal their intentions.
Systems Of Animal Language :
a) Chameleon defend by changing its body
colour

b) Electric eels have a system of electric pulse


signals

c) Spiders have an elaborate system of courtship


gestures.
Example Of Animal Languages :
Most animals use “body language” as well as
sound and smell in order to communicate
with one another.
Here are some of the ways animals express
themselves :
1. Gorillas stick out their tongues to show
anger.
2. Horses rub noses as a sign of affection.
